Karnov Group initially invested in Ante ApS in January 2020, acquiring a 25% ownership. The investment was part of Karnov Group’s strategy of establishing a broad technology platform that creates increased relevance and efficiency for professionals working with legal information.

Since the initial investment, Ante has worked on improving the technology platform and has experienced great interest from the market. Especially the knowledge management platform AnteInHouse, which facilitates search across both internal and external documents is seen as valuable for legal professionals in Denmark. Also, the anonymisation tool, AnteAnonymous has gained traction in the market as a truly data driven tool for recognising and anonymising personal information.

In the near future, work will commence in integrating some of the capabilities of Ante into the core legal research platforms of Karnov Group. Especially the classification and anonymisation capabilities of Ante will bring value both to the users as well as to the internal processes of Karnov Group. In time, the potential for a deeper integration between AnteInHouse and the Karnov Group content will be investigated.
